GHOST LIGHT Web Series Reveals Backstage World
'People backstage should never be seen or heard - until now' - that's the maxim that the new web series 'Ghost Light' put to the test in its series premiere, launched recently on YouTube. An original series, 'Ghost Light' highlights the passion, humor, and frustration that working backstage can bring. This spring, the students in Site-Specific Directing at Primary Stages Einhorn School of Performing Arts (ESPA) have staged theatre all over New York City: from St. Mark's Church, to Tompkins Square Park, Central Park, and more. The directors concluded their class this past week by fully producing Chekhov on the Hudson - six short Chekhov adaptations near the Hudson River. ALIENS WITH EXTRAORDINARY SKILLS Adds Two Performances

Midtown International Theater Festival Award Nominees Announced
On Friday, September 5, at 8pm the Midtown International Theater Festival Awards will take place. The MITF Awards will honor the best shows and performances from the recently completed Ninth Annual Midtown InterNational Theatre Festival, which took place from July 14-August 10 of this year.
'Daguerreotypes' to Have Premiere on July 15th
One can find solace in the strangest of places, as shown when several emotionally broken artistic folk converge at a photographer's studio in Elisa Abatsis' bittersweet and funny drama, DAGUERREOTYPES. Directed by Karen Raphaeli and presented by Shoes for Royalty Productions, the show will have its World Premiere on July 15 at Where Eagles Dare Theatre, located at 347 West 36th Street, as part of the Ninth Annual Midtown International Theatre Festival.
