Birdland presented Bobby Conte in “Along the Way,” a solo concert celebrating his debut studio album. The concert featured an eclectic array of songs, all re-imagined and orchestrated by conductor/musician and producer, James Sampliner. Check out photos here!

MYO UNLIMITED brings the best elements of the orchestra's Ensemble Program to participants at home during Covid-19 and will run in place of regular Saturday rehearsals for the remainder of 2020, or until the orchestra is able to open its doors again.

Even the celebrities had a tough time getting a ticket for their shows at Feinstein's/54 Below. Jana Robbins and Haley Swindal's closing night's performance actually seemed more like an opening night with all the notability in the room. Musical Theatre Artists of Pittsburgh announces its Open Call for Submissions of new, unproduced musicals due by midnight, July 15 to be considered for two separate Incubator public readings to be held between October 2018 and January 2019. The Incubator readings are aimed at helping creative teams move their work forward by putting it in front of an audience. MTAP is eager to connect with local artists working in any style, so long as story, character, lyrics and original music are central to the work. There is no fee to submit work and artists new to MTAP are encouraged to apply. Musical Theatre Artists of Pittsburgh­­ announces a cast of 8 singers, who will perform 21 songs by 31 artists in its second edition of Hot Metal Musicals, a showcase of members' work. Great Performances, the highly acclaimed New York City catering company, will present the 8th Annual Latke Festival, one of the city's most deliciously fun yearly tasting events, on Monday, December 19, 2016 at a new location, the Brooklyn Museum.

The Brooklyn Museum announced today that David Berliner has become its new President and Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the Museum's operations and spearheading new strategic initiatives. Berliner had been a Board member and will now take a central operating role. Effective immediately, he will oversee operations and administration, financial management, outreach, and marketing and communications, and will work with Shelby White and Leon Levy Director Anne Pasternak on strategic planning and development.

The Incubator, aimed at helping creative teams move their work forward by thrusting it in front of an audience, will kick-off Monday, June 27, 2016 with Dear Boy, book and lyrics by Jeanne Drennan and music by David Berlin, followed by Me, Myself and Others by Eva Rainforth on Monday, August 29, 2016. Both will be presented at CLO's Charles Gray Auditorium at 7:00 pm.

BRIC is pleased to announce the lineup for its 37th annual Celebrate Brooklyn! Performing Arts Festival, which will comprise 29 performances, June 3 - August 12. The programming, reflective of Brooklyn's eclecticism and diversity, will feature a wide array of free, world-class performances in the singular environs of the Prospect Park Bandshell.

BRIC has announced that legendary soul singer Chaka Khan will open the 37th annual Celebrate Brooklyn! Performing Arts Festival, with a free concert June 3 at the Prospect Park Bandshell. Dubbed the "Queen of Funk," Chaka has stunned artists, audiences and critics alike over her 40-year career. She brings her unbridled talent to the Bandshell, continuing BRIC's longstanding tradition of presenting an eclectic mix of artists at the forefront of their field, all within the singular environs of Prospect Park. Previous Festival openers have included cultural luminary David Byrne, reggae icon Jimmy Cliff and pop sensation Janelle Monae, among many others.
