Grammy and Academy Award Winner Glen Hansard (composer of the film and Broadway productions of ONCE) has shared a new breakup song 'Setting Forth' off his new album 'Between Two Shores,' which will be released January 19th.

Playwright David Farr, inspired by TWELFTH NIGHT, AS YOU LIKE IT, and his own two daughters, has written a nature-infused feminist version of the legend of Robin Hood. Icelandic Director Gisli Örn Gardarsson and his creative team have conjured up an athletic, revolutionary staging brought to life by an agile ensemble and accompanied by Connecticut roots band Poor Old Shine. ONCE, an acclaimed new musical based on the 2007 Academy Award-winning film, is pleased to announce a lottery ticket policy for $26.50 orchestra seating. The production will begin previews on Tuesday, February 28 and open Sunday, March 18 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45th Street).

ONCE begins previews on Broadway Tuesday, February 28, 2012 with an opening night set for Sunday, March 18, 2012. The production features the Academy Award-winning music and lyrics of Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová, a book by award-winning Irish playwright & screenwriter, Enda Walsh (Penelope, Hunger, The New Electric Ballroom), direction by the acclaimed Scottish director of Black Watch, John Tiffany, movement by Steven Hoggett (Black Watch, American Idiot) and musical direction by Martin Lowe (Mamma Mia!). New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) presents the Broadway-bound world premiere of the new musical Once, which is based on the Academy Award-winning film.
