Continuing a successful UK-wide tour, Ruth Rendell's murder mystery A Judgement in Stone comes to the Belgrade Theatre this September with an all-star cast including Antony Costa, Chris Ellison, Robert Duncan, Sophie Ward, Deborah Grant, Shirley Anne Field and Ben Nealon.

Continuing a successful UK-wide tour throughout 2017, Chris Ellison and Robert Duncan will join the cast of The Classic Thriller Theatre Company's A Judgement in Stone. Ellison is well-loved for his longstanding role as ITV's DCI Frank Burnside in The Bill and Burnside and returns to familiar territory as Detective Superintendent Vetch in celebrated crime authoress Ruth Rendell's multi-million-selling work.

A new stage adaptation of Charles Dickens's Great Expectations opened at the West End's Vaudeville Theatre on 6 February 2013. Reprising their roles from the play's recent, successful UK tour, Jack Ellis stars as Jaggers, Chris Ellison as Magwitch and Paula Wilcox as Miss Havisham. The cast of 14 also includes Paul Nivison as Adult Pip, Grace Rowe as Estella and Taylor Jay-Davies as Young Pip.

Although it is Dickens' most popular novel and having previously had many incarnations, including as a film, a television drama and even a stage musical, this will be the first time there has ever been a production of GREAT EXPECTATIONS as a full-scale stage play in either the West End or on Broadway. The West End premiere of GREAT EXPECTATIONS will star Jack Ellis as Jaggers, Chris Ellison as Magwitch and Paula Wilcox as Miss Havisham. As reported by the Daily Mail, Grace Rowe has been cast as 'Estella' in the new stage adaptation of Charles Dickens' Great Expectations by Jo Clifford. The production has been touring the UK and will begin performances at the West End's Vaudeville Theatre on February 1st.
