VOULEZ-VOUS? ENCORE! is part of RETRO FACTORY, an LGBTQ+ immersive Party Series produced by Theatre C, in partnership with Queer Queens.

Cabaret Artists Chad M. Ryan and Brooke M. Haney's first collaborative endeavor, Brooke and Chad Are… Just as Gay as You. (A Queer Cabaret of Chaos and Clarity), premieres this year during Pride Week on Tuesday, June 20th at 6:30 pm at the Duplex. Created by Haney and Ryan from their combined personal "GAY" experiences, the show explores the themes of queerness and identity and the unlikely friendship between a Gay man and a Queer woman, all under their shared love of music and storytelling. Filled with chaotic humour, truth telling vulnerability and occasional crisp clarity, the evening is sure to be a 'gay ol time.' The duo has also partnered with Shining Hope for Communities to raise money and build awareness for Margaret's Safe Place, a project of Shining Hope. To that end, a portion of the proceeds from every ticket will go to support Shining Hope.

Greasepaint Productions (Thank You For Being a Friend the Musical) is a theater company dedicated to bringing passion projects to the New York stage in quality productions. Their current producing endeavor is the lesser known, but stunningly written AIDS drama, Lonely Planet written by Steven Dietz. Originally produced by the Barrow Group in 1994, Lonely Planet tells the story of Jody, a forty year old shop owner who has become a shut in and his younger friend Carl, a caretaker who has to convince him that not only is it ok to leave the shop, he must do so to take responsibility for his life. First, Jody has to come to terms with the fact that his community is being decimated by the AIDS virus and he must be tested before he becomes a casualty as well.
Playwright Erik Champney looks at the extremes people will go to in the name of self-preservation with Blankets and Bedtime: 3 Restless Plays, three one-act works where the truth can be the most unwelcome element of all. Presented by Pixie Theory Productions, and directed by Janet Bentley, the show will be performed beginning June 15 at the Downstairs Theater at The Paradise Factory, located at 64 East 4th Street, as part of Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. This unauthorized musical parody inspired by the beloved TV sitcom "The Golden Girls," features book, music and lyrics by Nick Brennan (who also directs) and Luke Jones. The show will end its often-extended run on May 30.

XL Nightclub will ring in 2014 with The Phantom Ball with the help of two talented singers, Chad Ryan and Brianna Galligan, who will take on the roles of the Phantom and Christine respectively. The biggest night of the year will feature a spectacular stage production and live performances by Ryan and Galligan of the best vignettes from Phantom of the Opera in its 25th Anniversary year with remixes choreographed especially for the evening.
