Karen O and Danger Mouse will premier their multisensory art installation this spring at Los Angeles' prestigious Marciano Art Foundation. “An Encounter with Lux Prima,” an immersive, communal listening experience soundtracked by the pair's forthcoming album, unites their singular creative vision with groundbreaking audiovisual technologies. “An Encounter” sees the duo collaborate with an illustrious cast of fellow artists including creative director Barnaby Clay (David Bowie—“Life On Mars” Revisited, SHOT!), Oscar-nominated sound designer Ren Klyce (Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Fight Club), renowned lighting designer Tobias Rylander (Robyn, The xx, FKA twigs), visual artist Davy Evans and creative consultant Warren Fu (Daft Punk, The Weeknd, Depeche Mode) to bring Lux Prima to life. Before there was Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, there was Antonio Salieri. Today, most people only know the latter as a character in the play AMADEUS and its Oscar-winning film version, and not as head of all things musical in Vienna for decades and a prolific composer. You've got to give points to the spunky little Dell'Arte Opera Ensemble for digging up Salieri's 1789 work LA CIFRA (THE CYPHER), an opera buffa popular in its time, and giving its US premiere.

There will also be a special Screening of Ms. Schwab's short film will be on July 15th. Both events will take place in Barrett Township, PA.

Pocono Mountains Theater Company Announces New Venue Partnership


Pocono Mountains Theater Company has confirmed three performances of Jessica Dickey's 'Row After Row' have been booked at Red Stag Pub in Bethlehem. Performances at the Red Stag pub will be Tuesday evenings at 7 PM, May 8th, 15th and 22nd. Row After Row will be the 1st production of PMTC's 2018 season. Red Stag Pub is in addition to the previously announced performances at Siamsa Irish Pub in Stroudsburg. Other venues in Milford, Delaware Water Gap, and Buck Hill Falls are in Development.
