Over its 70-year history, Beckett's 'Waiting for Godot' has been staged in many venues, but Colonial Theatre's current production offers a most congenial outdoor setting in Westerly's Wilcox Park. Combine that with stellar performances all around and deft, assured directorial choices, and you have a compelling evening worthy of the material.

'Raison d'etre: an Evening of Pirandello,' explores the complexity and depth of Pirandello's work by taking his seminal play, 'Six Characters in Search of an Author' and infusing it with characters and themes from two of his notable one-act plays, 'Chee Chee' and 'The Man with the Flower In His Mouth.'

Burning Coal Theatre Company will present the East Coast premiere of Darkside, a comedy by Tom Stoppard with music by Pink Floyd, directed by Palina Jonsdottir. The play will run October 12 - 14, 19 - 21, 26 - 28, 2017 at 7:30 pm and October 15, 22, and 29 at 2 pm at Burning Coal's Murphey School Auditorium, 224 Polk Street, Raleigh, NC 27604.
