The Inheritance officially opened tonight on Broadway! BroadwayWorld attended the big night and we're taking you on the red carpet. Stars in attendance included George Takei, Anderson Cooper, Judith Light, Matt Bomer, Glenn Close, Jimmy Fallon, Antoni Porowski, Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick, and many more!

ALLEGIANCE, George Takei's chronicles of his unimaginable family imprisonment in internment camps, makes its L.A. premiere February 28 at the JACCC's Aratani Theatre. During previews, we managed to grab a chance to talk with George on ALLEGIANCE's too-long, incredible journey from his all-too-vivid childhood memories to its decades-later try-out at San Diego's Old Globe, through its Broadway engagement, to its Los Angeles premiere with the East West Players.

Just yesterday, 'Star Trek' alum, social media icon and activist George Takei was joined by Tony® winner Lea Salonga and his Allegiance co-stars for a very special afternoon. GLAAD, the nation's lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) media advocacy organization, today announced that global superstar Kylie Minogue will perform at the 25th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in New York tonight, May 3 at the iconic Waldorf Astoria New York. GLAAD also announced TV icon and LGBT advocate George Takei will receive the Vito Russo Award at the event.

The new incarnation of the rock musical Bare began previews Off-Broadway at New World Stages on Monday, November 19, 2012 and opened last night, Sunday, December 9, 2012. The New York Pops orchestra - famous for presenting popular music with a symphony orchestra of the highest quality - celebrated the music of Irving Berlin in a stirring program entitled 'Rags to Ritzes.' Under the baton of guest director Jack Everly, the concert kicked off the orchestra's 29th season on October 14 with an evening of quintessentially American music.

EWP is proud to announce the addition of Telly Leung (Rent, Pacific Overtures) to the star-studded line-up. Leung can also be seen on TV in Glee.

Brendan Fraser and Denis O'Hare star in ELLING on Broadway with Jennifer Coolidge in ELLING, new comedy from London, directed by Tony Award-winner Doug Hughes. ELLING began performances Tuesday, November 2, opened Sunday, November 21 on Broadway at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre 243 West 47th Street and will play a strictly limited engagement through March 20, 2011.

The nominations for the 2009 GLAAD Media Awards have been announced, BILLY ELLIOT and Road Show were among the New York theatre related show nominees. The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation also announced that Tyra Banks will receive the Excellence in Media Award and Suze Orman will be awarded the Vito Russo Award. GLAAD also give honors to comicbooks, advertising and journalism. Ceremonies will be held on March 28 in New York at the Marriott Maquis, April 18 in Los Angeles at the Nokia Theatre and on May 9 in San Francisco at the San Francisco Hilton.

Monday night, August 25th, as Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles celebrated their 30th anniversary season with the stunning Joely Fisher as host/performer.

On Monday June 30th 2008 at Mandarin Oriental Hotel, the Trevor Project held their eighth annual benefit gala.
