Carole J. Bufford returned to Birdland on Monday, October 31 with a brand-new show celebrating all things Halloween. Ms. Bufford and company (Ian Herman, Howie Gordon, Tom Hubbard) brought eerie music like 'Every Breath You Take,' 'Bad Moon Rising,” 'I Want To Be Evil,' 'Witchy Woman,' 'Cruella de Ville,' 'St. James Infirmary,' 'Send Me To The 'Lectric Chair,' and more to the stage of the historic music room.
The Hampton Theater Company (HTC) does it again kicking off their spectacular 35th season with Ken Ludwig's Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery. Running through November 10th at the adorable Quogue Community Hall, the hilarious production is excellently directed by Diana Marbury. It is a satire of Conan Doyle's The Hounds of Baskerville, so you know you are in for an entertaining evening.

'4000 Miles,' Amy Herzog's gently comic drama that won the Obie Award for Best New American Play and was a finalist for the 2013 Pulitzer Prize, will be the second play of the Hampton Theatre Company's 2016-2017 season, opening on January 12, 2017 at the Quogue Community Hall and running through January 29.
The Hampton Theatre Company in Quogue, now in its 32nd year, has added an additional production to the 2016-2017 season. For one weekend only, December 9 to 11, the HTC will present two festive evenings and one matinee performance of holiday stories by Arthur Conan Doyle, Isaac Bashevis Singer, O. Perhaps one of Kaufman's lesser known works, The Butter and Egg Man is a wonderful comedy about producing theater and was one of Kaufman's biggest Broadway successes when it opened at the Longacre Theatre in 1925. The production is directed by Ricardo Rust, who co-produced Retro Productions, An Appeal to the Woman of the House which was nominated for 3 New York Innovative Theater Awards and won an award for Heather E.
