Andrew Schwartz BIO

Andrew Schwartz is an Assistant Professor of Theatre at Auburn University specializing in acting and directing. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Penn State, a Diplôme d'études théâtrales from the Ecole Florent School of Theater in Paris, and an MFA in Acting from the National Theatre Conservatory in Denver, CO.
Recent directing credits at Coker include The Crucible, Little Shop of Horrors, The Threepenny Opera, Twelfth Night, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Our Town, and We are Proud to Present… He also recently directed the college premiere of the hit comedy Shakespeare in Love at the University of South Carolina.
Professionally, he has worked in theaters internationally, Broadway and Off Broadway in NYC, and regionally including The New Victory Theatre (NYC), Lincoln Center Institute (NYC), Classic Stage Company (NYC), The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The Folger Theatre, La Jolla Playhouse, The L.A. Shakespeare Festival, The Denver Center for the Performing Arts, The Shakespeare Theatre of NJ, The Globe Theater in Neuss, Germany, and the Aegean Festival in Athens, Greece.
Andrew is a proud member of Actor's Equity Association and a founding member of Full Circle Productions.

American Classical Orchestra Announces 2018-2019 Season


American Classical Orchestra (ACO) today announces its programming for the 2018-19 season, the orchestra's 34th year of presenting historically accurate, engaging, and educational concerts led by Artistic Director and Founder Thomas Crawford. ACO performs four concerts presented in Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center and two salon concerts in a private venue. ACO is joined this season by an illustrious group of acclaimed period-performance soloists including violinists Krista Bennion Feeney and Aisslinn Nosky, pianist Christian De Luca, and flutist Sandra Miller.
