Folio Theatre announces full cast and creative team for the world premiere of Nanny, co-written by Alana Ramsey, Lizzie Stables, and Jenny Rainsford. The production runs at Bristol Old Vic and Theatre Royal Plymouth.

Folio, partnered with ETT (English Touring Theatre) and Pound Arts, announces a new Digital UK tour for Alys Metcalf's REEL LIFE beginning at The Pound Arts Centre in Corsham, before touring to Penzance, Crowcombe, Beverley, Dawlish and Burnham-on-Sea, with further dates for the rest of the year to be announced.

Sex, power and consent – can we ever atone for the sins of our past?  When Niala arranges to meet celebrated charity leader Ben in the bar of a London hotel for career advice, their evening unfolds into something far less professional. 

Martin Marquez has an extensive repertoire of stage work with the Donmar Warehouse, The National and Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.  He most recently starred as Nathan Detroit in Sheffield Theatre's production of Guys & Dolls and in Josie Rourke's revival of Sweet Charity at the Donmar playing Vittorio Vidal. 

In Leopards, by rising playwright Alys Metcalf, Niala will be played by Saffron Coomber. Niamh Cusack will be reuniting with director Melly Still in the world premiere of Colin Teevan’s The Seven Pomegranate Seeds.

Under Haydon's stewardship, the Rose's own work will be the priority, as demonstrated by the five Rose Originals in this upcoming season, but there will always be room on the theatre's stage for the country's leading touring shows as well.  This season's Rose Originals are a blend of new plays tackling significant contemporary issues and well-known titles reinvented for today.

Following an incredibly successful run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2018, Roxy Dunn and Alys Metcalf will bring their comedy play You Only Live Forever, about the reality of living for eternity, to London's Soho Theatre for four dates from Wednesday 14th August 2019 to Saturday 17th August 2019 at 9pm. In this comic two-hander from theatre and TV writer and performer Roxy Dunn (Edinburgh 2016 sell-out show In Tents and Purposes), one couple tries to overcome Peter Pan syndrome as Dunn pits eternal youth and possibility against happiness in the here and now. Paralysed by indecision, 35 year old Tim's happy to stick to the 'nice solid non-moving ground' rather than move forward in his relationship with his 25 year old girlfriend, Judith. Frustrated by his lack of commitment, she delivers an ultimatum - Tim must choose between growing up or breaking up.

The UK premiere of new play 'Unearthed' starring The Inbetweeners actress Lizzie Stables, written by Royal Court young writer Alys Metcalf, and directed by Kim Pearce, resident director of The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night Time comes to The New Wimbledon Theatre's studio from 5th - 6th May as part of it's UK tour.
