The Franklin Performing Arts Company (FPAC) proudly presents The Nutcracker, bringing special guest artists, world-class musicians and more than 100 area dancers to one suburban stage. FPAC invites audiences to fall under Drosselmeyer's dreamy spell and join Clara and her Nutcracker Prince on a journey full of surprises and wonder. A popular holiday tradition for more than two decades, The Nutcracker remains a highly anticipated and treasured part of the FPAC season. Set to Tchaikovsky's beloved score, the timeless ballet delights the imaginations of audiences young and old with festive magic and colorful splendor. FPAC presents The Nutcracker today, December 5 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 6 at 2 p.m. at the Franklin High School auditorium, 218 Oak Street, in Franklin.

Franklin School's Ballet Conservatory to Perform with Metrowest Symphony, 3/9

Ballet Conservatory dancers from the Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA) will perform Sergei Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf and Benjamin Britten's The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra with the Metrowest Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Music Director Peter L. Cokkinias. The collaborative performance is part of the Hopkinton-based Orchestra's "Artists in Bloom" Family Concert, to be presented on Sunday, March 9 at 3 p.m. at the Joseph P. Keefe Technical School Auditorium, 750 Winter Street, in Framingham. The program also features Aaron Copland's Outdoor Overture and Maurice Ravel's Tzigane, with 16-year-old violin soloist Elizabeth Kim, winner of the Orchestra's annual Young Artist Competition.

The Franklin Performing Arts Company (FPAC) is pleased to announce casting for the 2013 holiday production of Tchaikovsky's timeless classic, The Nutcracker. A popular and highly-anticipated FPAC tradition for more than 20 years, The Nutcracker brings international ballet stars, world-class musicians and 100 area dancers to one suburban stage. Special guest artists Dalay Parrondo and Bradley Schlagheck, Boston Ballet soloists, will dance the roles of the Sugar Plum Fairy and Cavalier. Franklin's Nick Paone will reprise the role of Dr. Drosselmeyer. Delighting the imaginations of audiences of all ages, FPAC's magical journey of The Nutcracker will also feature a professional orchestra under the direction of Peter Cokkinias.

The Franklin Performing Arts Company (FPAC) announces casting for the 2012 holiday production of Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker. More than 100 young dancers from 25 area towns will perform in the production. Performances will take place on Saturday, December 8, at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, December 9, at 2:00 p.m. at the Thomas D. Mercer Auditorium, 224 Oak Street, in Franklin. Erica Cornejo, Boston Ballet principal dancer, and Carlos Molina, former American Ballet Theatre soloist and Boston Ballet principal, will dance the roles of the Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier.
