The Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC NYC, Executive Director Khady Kamara and Artistic Director Bill Rauch) presents Watch Night at the new performing arts center at the World Trade Center site in Lower Manhattan.  The production opens tomorrow, November 8, 2023.

The Perelman Performing Arts Center has revealed complete casting for Watch Night at the new performing arts center at the World Trade Center site in Lower Manhattan. 

Joining FORGE from across the U.S. and the world–and bringing their expertise in a vast array of fields including video game design and hairstyling alongside screenwriting, live performance, visual art and multimedia –these sixteen makers have been awarded a fully-subsidized six-month engagement with FORGE NYC, bookmarked with 14 points of contact curated to help them build the skills, systems, plans, and practices that will carry them not only through their current projects, but their life's work as creators. 

The Down Home Up Here Festival is back for the 11th year on April 15th and 17th. The festival, held annually on Patriots' Day Weekend, will feature more than a dozen Bluegrass and Old Time acts performing live on the Passim stage. There will also be classes for musicians looking to get into Bluegrass and Old Time music and a Bluegrass brunch on Sunday morning.

The Playthings Theatre, an LGBTQ+ Theatre Company in New York City, will be performing its gala concert PlayFresh on Tuesday, May 31st at 7:00pm at The Irish Repertory Theatre. PlayFresh is an evening of new LGBTQ+ music performed by the community's finest performers. Playthings will be honoring Paul Rudnick with The P.R.I.D.E. Performing Arts Award for his contribution to theatre and the LGBTQ+ community.

The stars of Sing Street are going live today at 6:30pm to show their support to first responders and essential healthcare workers with a virtual charity performance benefiting The Mayor's Fund and BCEFA!

The cast of SING STREET present SING STREET: Grounded - At Home With The Broadway Cast, a chance to see the young cast perform some of their favorite scenes and songs to benefit The Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. 

West Side Story is officially in previews on Broadway! The new production is directed by Tony Award winner Ivo van Hove; and for the first time ever in the United States, will feature all-new choreography by the internationally acclaimed Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker. West Side Story will begin previews on December 10, 2019 and open February 6th, 2020 at the Broadway Theatre.

The 5th ANNUAL NEW YORK INDIE THEATRE ONE-MINUTE PLAY FESTIVAL (#1MPF) returns to for its fifth year, in partnership with New Ohio Theatre. The 5th Annual NY Indie 1MPF runs three performances only; Sunday, June 2nd, Monday, June 3rd, and Tuesday, June 4th at 8pm. All performances are at New Ohio Theatre (154 Christopher Street). The musical Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is a 1979 thriller featuring music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by Hugh Wheeler. The musical is based on a 1973 play of the same name by Christopher Bond. Sweeney Todd opened on Broadway in 1979 and won the Tony Award for Best MusicalThe Broadway production starred Len Cariou and Angela Lansbury, both of whom won Tony Awards for originating the roles of Sweeney and Mrs. Lovett.

Next month, FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond.

The Carriage House Players, in collaboration with the Kenan Center present Yasmina Reza's Tony-award winning comedy, 'Art'. Performances will take place in the Taylor Theater, Friday through Sunday May 10 through 19th, with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM, and Sunday matinees at 2:00 PM. The Taylor Theater is located on the campus of the Kenan Center at 433 Locust Street in Lockport, NY.

The Playthings Theatre, an LGBTQ+ Company in New York City, will be performing its gala concert PlayFresh on Monday, March 11th at 7:00pm.
