COME FROM AWAY is the heart warming true story of people opening their homes, lives and hearts to complete strangers as happened when many planes with thousands of passengers were diverted on September 11, 2001. Following a blockbuster East coast run (with a few diversions) it has finally landed in Perth to provide some feel-good and fun.

COME FROM AWAY has won a swag of big awards and it seems that it never fails to win hearts wherever it goes. The hit musical is headed to Perth this month and features a stellar cast of including a healthy contingent of WAAPA graduates. One of those graduates is the talented Zoe Gertz, who discussed the show and her journey there.

Sydney is treated to an encore season of Irene Sankoff and David Hein’s (Book, Music and Lyrics) multi award winning musical COME FROM AWAY as the Australian production opens as the Theatre Royal. 

Worldwide smash hit, Tony and Olivier award-winning musical COME FROM AWAY will head to Newcastle's Civic Theatre from 18 February followed by a season at Adelaide's Her Majesty's Theatre from 28 March and Perth's Crown Theatre from 6 May 2023.

Nominations were announced today for the Sydney Theatre Awards for 2021, which will be presented at an industry gala ceremony on Monday 31 January 2022 at 7pm at the York Theatre, Seymour Centre.

COME FROM AWAY is a story that everyone should see so it is wonderful that the Australian production has had the resilience to withstand the challenges of two COVID-19 induced shutdowns, first during its Melbourne season and most recently during Sydney’s 4-month lockdown.

The Olivier Award-winning West End production of COME FROM AWAY returns to London's Phoenix Theatre from July 22, with the Tony Award-winning New York production re-opening in Broadway's Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre on September 21. 

Sydney's long-awaited season of COME FROM AWAY opens at Sydney's Capitol Theatre with performances from 3 June.  After being postponed due to Covid in 2020, this internationally acclaimed, multi-award winning musical is finally opening its doors to loyal Sydney audiences who have been waiting for many months to see this production. 

Come From Away will resume its five-week season at QPAC's Lyric Theatre this Tuesday 6th April (until 9th May).

The award winning musical Come From Away landed on Brisbane's shores on Sunday night and whilst its future is still uncertain, its story is more relevant than ever. Come From Away officially returned to performances at the Comedy Theatre from Tuesday 19 January. This marks the first of the global companies of Come From Away to return to the stage, for a strictly limited season that must close on Sunday 21 March, prior to a national tour.

The Australian company is the first to re-take the stage worldwide, with Broadway, London, Toronto and North American Tour counterparts on hiatus.

Leading the way in a triumphant return to the theatre in Melbourne, COME FROM AWAY will be the first major musical back on stage, commencing performances at the Comedy Theatre from Tuesday 19 January.

International success story, COME FROM AWAY continues to attract accolades around the world, after today receiving the most nominations in the 2020 Green Room Awards.
