Theatre East has announced the world premiere of Edie Saves the Birds, a play written by Stephanie Fagan. 13-year-old Edie, daughter of a single mom, granddaughter of an ailing grandfather, wakes up each day singularly focused on one thing - saving the birds.

SHUTTER SISTERS is a very enjoyable and empathetic look at how connections between mothers, daughters, friends, and even strangers impact the story of your life. Playing at The Old Globe in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre through November 7th.

The Old Globe will present the world premiere play Shutter Sisters by Mansa Ra. Directed by  Donya K. Washington, the play runs October 7, 2021 – November 7, 2021 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.

The Old Globe announced the full cast and creative team for Shutter Sisters written by Mansa Ra (Too Heavy for Your Pocket) and directed by Donya K. Washington (Beautiful Blackbird at Alliance Theatre and Festival Producer at Oregon Shakespeare Festival).
