CHEMICALLY ALTERED, TELLY LEUNG PRODUCTIONS and YELLOW SOUND LABEL have announced the release of the soundtrack to GRIND: THE MOVIE, the short musical film. The five new songs performed by Anthony Rapp and Eric Michael Krop feature music by Derek Gregor and lyrics by Selda Sahin. The digital exclusive, which will be available on iTunes and other online outlets today, August 26, will be celebrated with a special release event concert at 54 Below on September 1.

54 BELOW will host a special concert to celebrate the soundtrack to GRIND: THE MOVIE - the new short musical film - on September 1. Artists performing the songs of Derek Gregor and Selda Sahin - who provided the film's five new numbers - include Anthony Rapp (If/Then, Rent), Eric Michael Krop (Godspell), Calvin Grant (Rent), Natalie Weiss (Everyday Rapture), Matt Shingledecker (Rent, West Side Story, Spring Awakening), Danny Blu (Lead singer of 'The Factory Blu'),? Pasha Pellosie ('The Carrie Diaries'), Drew Brody (Singer/Songwriter) and more. The album's digital exclusive will be available on iTunes and other online outlets on Tuesday, August 26. The 35 minute short film - written and directed by Zachary Halley - will be available to view online at GrindShortFilm.com on October 1, where the exclusive trailer is currently available. GAY HAIKU, the new play written and directed by Sam Perwin - based on the celebrated book of poetry of Joel Derfner - will debut at Dixon Place on Thursday, February 6 at 7:30 PM. The cast includes Jennifer Lauren Brown, Nic Cory, Trey Gerrald, Josh Hemphill, Patrick McAndrew, Eric Ulloa, and John-Michael Zeurlein. GAY HAIKU was a semi-finalist in the Strawberry One-Act Festival and was subsequently selected as part of the festival's Encores Series. This presentation at Dixon Place marks the premiere of the full-length version. The show is produced by Thomas Dolan.

The producers of 'Grind' have announced Pasha Pellosie has joined the project as their final lead, Thane. A relative newcomer, Pasha has been on The Carrie Diaries and Law and Order: SVU. He joins previously announced Anthony Rapp (RENT) and Claire Coffee (NBC's Grimm) in this independent musical short film.
