MTV and Dimension TV today announced new roles, casting and premiere date for the second season of its blood red hot horror franchise, SCREAM the TV series.

The premiere episode of MTV's hit new slasher series “Scream” scared up big viewership numbers, drawing more than 6.0 million total viewers in live + 3, including 3.1 million viewers in MTV's core P12-34 audience.

MTV will take San Diego Comic-Con by storm with the return of Comic-Con favorite and hit drama series “Teen Wolf” for the sixth time and convention debuts of highly-anticipated shows “Scream: The TV Series” and “The Shannara Chronicles.”

Actor James Denton ('DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES') is in town to promote his new show 'GOOD WITCH' on the Hallmark Channel. Last night, he attended TACT's 'ABUNDANCE' to see his friend Todd Lawson, who plays Jack in the show. He congratulated Todd and the rest of the cast after the show. Scroll down for a photo!

Abundance, now playing at the Beckett Theatre, was commissioned in 1989 and is based on true life stories of pioneering women . . . Clearly well researched, Abundance manages to feel both intimate and sweeping . . . Director Jenn Thompson makes one feel like a voyeur. When unexpressed, emotions are evident, when manifest, frequently physically, they're visceral. Characters are defined by carriage as well as dialogue and allotted time to think. Outbursts are never too big to be credible. The stage and minimal set are well used.

As BWW TV previously reported, TNT has given a 10-episode greenlight to Michael Bay's drama THE LAST SHIP starring Eric Dane. In celebration, the network has released the first trailer for the action series - check it out below!

TNT has greenlit the action-packed drama series The Last Ship, starring Eric Dane (Grey's Anatomy) and executive-produced by blockbuster filmmaker Michael Bay (Transformers). Based on William Brinkley's popular novel, The Last Ship comes to TNT from Bay's Platinum Dunes and its partners, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form, whose credits include upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Bay, Fuller and Form serve as executive producers, along with showrunner Hank Steinberg (Without a Trace) and Steven Kane (The Closer). Steinberg and Kane wrote the series pilot, which was directed by Jonathan Mostow (U-571).

On BODY OF PROOF's upcoming episode, titled 'Breakout,' an inmate violently escapes from a prison transport van and becomes a dangerous fugitive on the run in Philadelphia. Soon another man turns up dead - who's revealed to be a witness in the escaped prisoner's murder trial. Megan must continue to search for the truth in the original case when the accused murderer shows up and pleads with her that he is innocent and being framed, on TUESDAY, MARCH 19 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on ABC.

Matt Cavenaugh, Kate Shindle, Jenny Powers, Amy Justman and Felicity Claire will perform in 'Little Theater, Big Dreams' May 10. The cabaret performance will benefit arts programming at the West Side YMCA.
