Tyce Green is an artist of great vocal dexterity who is delightful to listen to. He is a deft mimic and is possessed of a quick wit that is for the most part self-deprecating.  He is smart, politically astute, and in spite of claiming to be socially awkward has the ability to dominate a room with his presence. His 54 Below show, TYCE GREEN: DOING THE MOST has been crafted to showcase his humor, his pyrotechnic singing, and his dual love of musical theatre fandom and true old-school rocker tunes. His show was stuffed full of an embarrassment of riches that display his many versatile talents.

Off-Broadway's ROCK OF AGES has announced the return of ROCKTOBERFEST, a month-long celebration offering ticket holders exclusive events, including an onstage lip sync battle, an epic Halloween Bash in partnership with Hard Rock Café, over $7,500 worth of prizes & giveaways, and all tickets at $69.

Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, the nonprofit cultural center located at the site of the 1969 Woodstock festival, today announced that Elvis Costello & The Imposters and Blondie will perform at the center on Saturday, July 20th as the first stop on their coast-to-coast co-headlining tour.

Blondie & Garbage today announced a co-headline North American tour that will kick off on July 5th in Saratoga, CA

The five-time Tony Award-nominated Rock of Ages played its final performance last night, January 18, 2015 after 22 preview and 2,328 Broadway performances, solidifying its spot as the 27th longest running show in Broadway history. The current company was joined by past cast members onstage for the epic, final curtain call, and BroadwayWorld was there for the special celebration. Just last night, the five-time Tony Award nominated Broadway musical ROCK OF AGES hosted a Military Tribute Night, at which 160 Active Duty, Retired & Veteran members of the U.S. Military were given free tickets to the show, and one Veteran in attendance received the Grand Prize of a new mortgage-free home, courtesy of The Boot Campaign and Benchmark Mortgage. The producers of the hit musical ROCK OF AGES announced today that frontman for the 80's sensation Twisted Sister, Dee Snider, will make his Broadway debut in the role of 'Dennis' for an 11-week limited run, October 11- December 24, 2010 at The Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street).

Last night, September 27, REO Speedwagon frontman, Kevin Cronin, rocked Broadway with the band's classic hit Can't Fight This Feeling (backed by ROA's band Arsenal) and was joined by all of REO Speedwagon for a Q & A immediately following the evening performance of ROCK OF AGES. As BroadwayWorld has reported, Tony Award nominee Constantine Maroulis will perform for the last time as 'Drew' on Broadway Thursday, September 9 before headlining the First National Tour of ROCK OF AGES, debuting in Chicago on September 21. Joey Taranto will take over the role of 'Drew' at Broadway's Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street). Additional cast changes include Mitchell Jarvis playing his final performance as 'Lonny' on Sunday, September 5 and taking over the role of 'Stacee Jaxx' from James Carpinello, who will play his final performance on a date to be determined. Jay Klaitz, recently of Lend Me a Tenor, to begin performances as 'Lonny' on Monday, September 6. BroadwayWorld has learned that joining Maroulis on tour are Joey Calveri, Erika Shannon, Angela Brydon, Casey Tuma and Burn the Floor's MiG Ayesa, who will be assuming the role of Stacee Jaxx.

Last night, August 5, the ROCK OF AGES Broadway cast and members of the newly announced touring cast partied together at BB Kings in Times Square to live 80's tunes by Lipstick & Leather, in addition to additional rock band cover singers.
