The Emmy-award-winning comedy series, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, returns to Amazon Prime Video for its fourth season, now streaming! BroadwayWorld Toronto had the pleasure of speaking to Tom Mizer and Curtis Moore, the Emmy-nominated duo behind all of the original music featured on the show.

Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma presents its first production of the 2016 season, MANN... AND WIFE. This world premiere musical, running tonight, February 3, through February 21 at Lyric's Plaza Theatre, is the third musical to have its first full production at Lyric in the past three years. Written by Douglas J. Cohen and Dan Elish, and based on Elish's novel Nine Wives, the musical is produced in partnership with Larry Hirschhorn and Jayson Raitt.

The American Music Theatre Project (AMTP) at Northwestern University will workshop and present a staged reading of the new musical "The Enlightenment of Percival von Schmootz" written by the Fred Ebb Award, Jonathan Larson Grant and Lorenz Hart Award-winning team Michael Kooman and Christopher Dimond. 

MANN... AND WIFE, a new musical by Douglas J. Cohen and Dan Elish based on Elish's novel Nine Wives, will receive its world premiere at Lyric's Plaza Theatre in February of 2016. This musical will continue the new works initiative started in 2014 with TRIANGLE by Tom Mizer, Curtis Moore, and Joshua Scher and continuing in October 2015 with BERNICE BOBS HER HAIR by Adam Gwon and Julia Jordan.

The ?American Music Theatre Project (AMTP) at Northwestern University will present a 'by-invitation-only' workshop presentation of the new musical 'Scrooge In Love!' for Northwestern theatre faculty, students, staff and Chicago theatre industry members, on Sunday, Nov. 23.

The American Music Theatre Project (AMTP) at Northwestern University will present two invited readings of the new musical 'Found' with book by Tony Award-nominated writer Hunter Bell and writer Lee Overtree, and music and original lyrics by Eli Bolin on Wednesday, May 29 and Friday, May 31, as part of the program's 'In The Works' initiative.

One month ago, 35 gifted lyricists, composers and librettists took up residency at Goodspeed Musicals in East Haddam, CT for the first ever Johnny Mercer Writers Colony to participate in an environment of discovery and inspiration. Working in teams and housed in specially constructed quintessential New England two story cottages each equipped with a piano, the teams worked on over 30 musicals during the course of the month. On Saturday February 16, the residency program concluded with a Salon as had been done each week featuring a sparkling sampler of new musicals that were worked on throughout the month. The concert will take place Monday, March 23rd at 7:30pm at CAP21 located on the 6th Floor of 18 West 18th Street, NYC. Tickets are $30 and include a post-show wine reception with the writers and performers. The evening is being directed by Ryan Mekenian with musical direction by J. Oconer Navarro. Proceeds will benefit the New Works program at CAP21.

American Theatre Wing presented the 2009 Jonathan Larson Grants on Tuesday, March 17 at Touch 240 West 52nd Street, NYC (Between Broadway and 8th Avenue).
