Produced by YOVA in collaboration with Rob Ellis (PJ Harvey, Marianne Faithful), Alex Thomas (John Cale, Anna Calvi), and Martin McDougall, the record features a stellar cast of like-minded musicians including Terry Edwards (Nick Cave, Gallon Drunk, The Jesus & Mary Chain), James Sedwards (Thurston Moore Group / This Is Not This Heat), and more.

Schande announces their new album 'Once Around' via Thurston Moore's label, The Daydream Library Series. Alongside this announcement, Schande has shared “Relevant Campaigns,” a poignant and restrained piece of guitar ambience written by frontwoman Jen Chochinov (and mixed by French musician Nopse). 

Devon Ross has shared her single, “Killer.” Featuring a vocal reminiscent of Patti Smith and a thrashing, guitar driven instrumental a-la Television, the track harkens to classic proto-punk recordings. The release comes as Ross prepares for her first concert, opening for The Thurston Moore Group at London’s legendary 100 CLUB on December 13, 2023.

Patrick Sansone, longtime member of Wilco and creative force behind Autumn Defense, releases 'Smokey Day' - a new music release. He releases his version of Colin Blunstone's “Smokey Day.” Sansone's version of the song is accompanied by a moody and stark black and white video which Sansone shot in Iceland.

Returning to Governors Island this coming Saturday is jazz drummer William Hooker. He brings a trio to the Nolan Park section of the island in Building 10B. This free concert is co-presented with the West Harlem Art Fund.

Nashville’s Be Your Own Pet made a triumphant return to both the stage and airwaves this past year after nearly 15 years apart. The new track is “Goodtime!,” which highlights the struggle of balancing two kids, a mortgage, and the desire for BYOP to make a comeback. The album will be quickly followed by a massive North American tour.

'My Childhood,' the first single from composer David T. Little's modern opera Black Lodge, is available now from Cantaloupe Music on all digital services.

The song marks their first new music since the release of their Get Damaged EP (XL Recordings) in 2008 and was written and recorded by the three founding members Jemina Pearl Abegg (vox), Jonas Stein (guitar), Nathan Vasquez (bass), and longtime drummer John Eatherly.
