The Musical, written by award-winning FringeNYC show Young Olympians and the Most Amazingly Awesome Adventure Ever playwright, Sarah Shulman,with lyrics by Caitlyn Joy, and music by Callan Holderbaum. This encore presentation will run for a limited time before making its way to FringeNYC in October. SUPER! The Musical is one of only three theatre for young audience shows chosen for inclusion in the festival.

The Musical, written by last summer's hit production, "Camelot and the Fight For the Holy Grail", playwright Sarah Shulman, Lyrics by "Q, The Witch and the Magical Orb", writer Caitlyn Joy, and Music by Callan Holderbaum.

Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET) presents a grown up's prequel to Peter Pan, where a dozen actors play more than 100 unforgettable characters. An apprentice starcatcher (13 year-old Molly Aster) takes to the high seas with a trunk full of magic 'starstuff' and three orphan boys while being pursued by a boat-load of pirates. Peter and the Starcatcher was written by Rick Elice (Jersey Boys, Addams Family) with music by Wayne Barker. This adaptation is based on the 2006 novel of the same name by humorist Dave Barry and suspense writer Ridley Pearson.

MET's resident improv and sketch comedy group, The Comedy Pigs, is gearing up for what promises to be another highly successful Comedy Extravaganza onFriday, August 5th and Saturday, August 6th at 8pm. With an awesome line-up of improvisers and stand-up comedians from across the MD/VA/DC area, both nights will feature completely different rosters of talent, with different forms of comedy, including short-form improv games, long-form improv, stand-up, sketches, and everything in between. Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET) and the Fun Company are bringing magic to the theatre with the performance of Cinderella. Watch dreams come true for one young girl with the help of her magical Fairy Godmother, some fairy dust and a little bit of hope starting April 16 going to May 15 (Saturdays and Sundays at 1:30 p.m.).

The Comedy Pigs, Maryland Ensemble Theatre's (MET) side-splitting improv troupe, are returning for their 23rd season with 28 performances featuring short-form improvisation and new sketch shows.

Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET) will present the inaugural play in its 18th Mainstage season, the hysterical hit show, One Man, Two Guvnors. Written by Richard Bean, and directed by MET Artistic Director Tad Janes, the play will run at MET for four weeks beginning September 11.

Mythological mayhem is returning to Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET) this May when the award winning fun-filled family musical for all ages, 'The Young Olympians and the Most Amazingly Awesome Adventure Ever', takes to the stage for one weekend only.  Olympians will play at MET, located at 31 W Patrick in downtown Frederick, this weekend, May 30 and 31 at 3:30pm.

Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET) continues its seventeenth Mainstage season with the satirical dark comedy "The Arsonists" by Max Frisch, and translated by Alistair Beaton. Inspired by the Communist takeover of Czechoslovakia in 1948, this absurdist allegory satirizes the way in which people can be manipulated into accommodating their own destruction. In the play, fires are becoming something of a problem, popping up all over town, but Mr. Biedermann has it all under control. A respected member of the community, he tries to live a life of blameless middle-class decency. It is this sense of bourgeois propriety that renders Biedermann defenseless when two strangers finesse their way into his home and settle in. But when they start filling his attic with petrol drums, will he help them light the fuse?

The Comedy Pigs, Maryland Ensemble Theatre's (MET) hilarious improv troupe are returning for their 22nd season with 26 performances which will include a brand new sketch show. Since the Comedy Pigs debuted in 1993, they have performed over 500 shows including nationwide improv festivals, have been featured on Comedy Central and have been guests at the National Pork Producers Convention. The upcoming 22nd season promises plenty of laughs with some new twists and audience favorites.
