Steve Young, star of the acclaimed documentary Bathtubs Over Broadway, has pulled back the curtain on one of the strangest, most improbable realms of show business—musicals written for corporate events. Now he’s coming to the McCallum Theatre to share a cornucopia of these unlikely gems at 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 8.

Playhouse on Park will present Steve Young's hilarious film about corporate musical theater. There will be two showings at Playhouse on Park in West Hartford, CT: Sunday, December 10th at 7pm and Monday, December 11th at 2pm.

The Nitehawk Cinema at Prospect Park will host The Weird and Wonderful World of Industrial Musicals, a bizarre and hilarious evening of corporate musical films, on Tuesday September 19th. The joyous holiday sleighride of rich musical moments and enthusiastic commitment continues as the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington (GMCW) presents The Holiday Show. This dedicated group has entertained the LGBTQ community for decades and it is refreshing to see them live in concert at their holiday offering. GMCW has plunged ahead during this daunting era with their effective outreach and fine virtual offerings, but it was so delightful to see them live in concert once again.  These grueling times demand a little lift, and this is the group that can fill the bill with top-notch musical energy.

It was another beautiful night in Andover, Kansas. The temperature was in the mid-80’s, there was a slight breeze, and not a rain cloud in sight. Many in the crowd were purchasing snacks from the food trucks parked behind the audience. Golf carts were transporting the super annuated and folx with mobility issues from the parking areas to the audience area. The VIP area was humming, and the atmosphere was super festive.

Get ready for another binge watch! Netflix will start streaming Bathtubs Over Broadway on Thursday, May 9. Directed by Dava Whisenant, the documentary peels back the curtain on the forgotten industrial musicals.

Peyton's Places, a 30-episode documentary series hosted by legendary quarterback Peyton Manning, is coming to ESPN+. Peyton will host the football-themed series, revisiting seminal moments in NFL history through conversations with former players, coaches and other key figures about football history and its cultural impact. The series will be part of the celebration of the National Football League's 100th season.
