If there was any doubt that Cafe Centro was a bona fide Cabaret Venue it was dispelled last night.  Billy Stritch was seated at the Cafe’s Grand Piano and Linda Purl was the songstress headlining on the cabaret stage of the South Florida restaurant. 

Mick Jagger and Melanie Hamrick, Amy Fine Collins, Guy Trebey, and Angela Goding were among those celebrating Sleeping Beauty Dreams last Thursday.

The Friends of the Budapest Festival Orchestra celebrated the beginning of the music season and commemorated the 60th anniversary of the Hungarian Revolution at the Hungarian Consulate on October 19th.

Hope for Depression Research Foundation honored Mariel Hemingway, Demi Lovato and Caron Treatment Centers at their Ninth Annual Luncheon Seminar where they raised over $750,000 for advanced depression research.

On Thursday evening, The New York Women's Foundation (NYWF) held its annual Fall Gala in The Grand Ballroom of The Plaza Hotel in New York City. The evening's honorees included Ambassador Samantha Power, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations; Lisa Kron and Jeanine Tesori, creators of the Tony Award-winning musical, FUN HOME, and corporate honoree Citi. TODAY's Hoda Kotb served as the evening's Mistress of Ceremony. The event raised $680,000 which will help to support NYWF's more than 70 women-led, community grantee-partner organizations. More than 400 women -- leaders of industry, media, government and the arts -- attended the Citymeals-on-Wheels 28th Annual 'Power Lunch for Women' at The Plaza Hotel on November 21, 2014. This by-invitation-only benefit, emceed by Emmy-winning co-hosts of the 4th Hour of The Today Show Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, raised $1.26 million -- enough to provide 196,000 meals for New York's homebound elderly. On Monday, September 29th, Cornelia Guest, Amanda Hearst, Anne Hearst McInerney, Patricia Hearst Shaw, Gillian Hearst Simonds and Kimberly Rockefellerhosted a reception for 400 and a dinner for 104 guests at The National Arts Club to celebrate the opening of 'Charles James: Beneath the Dress.' The exhibition of 100 fashion and erotic drawings from the private collection of R. Couri Hay, photographs by Anton Perich and a screening of the Charles James documentary by Angela Bernhard Thomas will run until October 5th.

The 20th Annual Watermill Center Summer Benefit took place on July 27, 2013 at the The Watermill Center in Water Mill, NY. Beginning at 6pm, the evening included cocktails provided by Bacardi USA, a silent auction, performances, art installations, dinner, dancing, and a live auction hosted by auctioneer Simon de Pury. It was a starry night on Broadway, as theater legends and American icons came out to support the launch of the Broadway Walk of Stars project. Arlene Dahl, creator of the project, had dreamt for years of lining New York's most famous thoroughfare with stars.
