Gibney, the New York City based dance and social justice organization, presents the world premiere of choreographer Kathy Westwater's Moundscapes December 8–10, 2022, commissioned by Eva Yaa Asantewaa as part of the 2022-2023 season at Gibney Center.

Works & Process, the performing arts series at the Guggenheim, will present the world premiere of A Chronicle of a Pivot at a Point in Time by Jamar Roberts, with music by David Watson on March 20 and 21, 2022 at 7:30 pm.

The Royale, the 2015 play by Marco Ramirez currently playing in Geva Theatre's Fielding Stage, isn't as much about boxing as it is about race, greatness, and a man who's moving faster than the world around him. It's an intimate, lyrical play, and continues Geva's recent tradition of hosting productions grown at Ithaca's Kitchen Theatre Company, another artistic gem just a couple hours down the 390.

Geva Theatre Center's 2018-2019 Fielding Studio Series concludes with The Royale, written by Marco Ramirez. This production comes to Geva from the Kitchen Theatre Company in Ithaca, N.Y., with the original cast and design team and is directed by Pirronne Yousefzadeh. The production begins performances on April 11 and runs in the Fielding Stage through April 28.

Dialogue with Three Chords (D3C) will present STARRY CHASTE IN THEIR COLOSSAL CORRUPTION to usher in their eighth year producing independent theatre in lower Manhattan. The series of short performances, written by Stephen Gracia and directed by Michael LoPorto, finds inspiration in the turn-of-the-century vaudeville scene.

I was fortunate to see the Cirio Collective on Monday, June 24, 2017, a part of the Joyce Theater's Ballet Festival, July 18 - 29. Drawn to see the company of extraordinary American Ballet Theatre principal dancer, Jeffrey Cirio, the artistic director of his own company, I was not disappointed. Cirio's associate artistic director is his sister, Lia Cirio, principal dancer of the Boston Ballet, also a remarkable dancer.

Written by Stephen Gracia and directed by Michael LoPorto, the full-length original play sees its debut at 8pm on Thursday, October 27, downstairs at Mr. Dennehy's on 63 Carmine Street, New York, NY 10014. Admission is free with a $3 suggested donation.

Dialogue with Three Chords (D3C) are set to celebrate a bloodier side of New York City's Irish legacy with THE PARTING GLASS. Written by Stephen Gracia and directed by Michael LoPorto, the play is set in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood in 1983. The show starts at 8pm on March 24, downstairs at Mr. Dennehy's 63 Carmine Street, New York, NY 10014.
