The Kleban Foundation is celebrating the 32nd anniversary of the annual Kleban Prize for Musical Theatre with the announcement of the 2022 prizewinners. The Kleban Prize for the most promising musical theatre lyricist has been awarded to César Alvarez (they/them).

The drama was written by renowned Emmy® and Golden Globe®-winning producers and screenwriters Harry and Jack Williams (The Missing, Fleabag).  The series stars Golden Globe Winner® Joanne Froggatt (Downton Abbey), Michiel Huisman (The Flight Attendant) and BIFA®-award winner Samuel Adewunmi (The Last Tree).
