Sammy Bayes is better known as Sammy Dallas Bayes to the people of Oneonta, New York, a small town outside of Cooperstown, as the director of almost every Orpheus Theatre production since the mid-90s. These credits include the musicals "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum", "Footloose", "Phantom of the Opera" and "Oliver!", which he has done twice. He is noted for his work with chorus members.
