While the data comes from the UK, I think we would find a lot of anecdotal agreement in the US industry as well.

COALITION OF IMMIGRANT ARTISTS is launching an initiative to combat xenophobia in the theater industry. The Immigrant Theatermakers Advocacy initiative works with institutions to reverse xenophobic policies and support immigrant artists.
