For its first in-person production since March, the Segal Centre has announced a collaboration with the renowned French theatre, Théâtre du Nouveau Monde, and the French Theatre of the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. This will be the first co-production between the Segal and TNM.

This August, Fringe audiences can enjoy Cirque Eloize's stunning Cirkopolis at the Pleasance, an imaginative and funny show seen by over 450,000 spectators in 100 cities in 30 countries and which won the Drama Desk Awards for Unique Theatrical Experience in 2014.

The Sony Centre for the Performing Arts and Canadian Stage are pleased to announce that tickets are on sale today for their inaugural co-presentation of the English Canadian premiere of Cirkopolis, the critically acclaimed show by Montreal-based troupe Cirque Eloize. Cirkopolis will be on stage at the Bluma Appel Theatre March 1-12, 2017.

Eligibility and award category designations for the productions under consideration this season were determined by the Drama Desk board of directors with recommendations from the nominating committee. Because of the abundance of great work throughout the season, the Board also authorized the increase in the number of nominees allowed in select categories.

After traveling through Europe, Cirkopolis, Cirque Eloize's latest production co-directed by Dave St-Pierre and Jeannot Painchaud, will be presented for the first time in Wilmington, Delaware at the DuPont Theatre from October 1-6, 2013 for eight (8) performances only.

With Robert Massicotte and Alexis Laurence's eye-popping 3D video projection design bringing Massicotte's blank urban landscape design to life, the urban dances and circus acts in 'iD' are resoundingly funky, fresh, and beautifully mesmerizing.
