New Adventures and the Royal Albert Hall have announced casting for Matthew Bourne's “THE CAR MAN” reimagined in a spectacular new staging for the Royal Albert Hall's 150th Anniversary.

After a couple of years of staying at home and catching up on all the boxsets and films you never got round to watching, it appears the West End has had a similar idea; Saturday Night Fever is the latest movie-based musical to hit the stage, joining the likes of Dirty Dancing, Back to the Future, Pretty Woman, and Moulin Rouge! The Musical. Following a short tour, the Bee Gees & John Travolta classic hits the West End for a limited run.

Perhaps best known for his television roles as Caleb in Casualty and Father Francis in Hollyoaks, Richard Winsor began his career dancing in a variety of Matthew Bourne productions. He now brings Saturday Night Fever, his debut role in a musical, to the Peacock, and sits down with us to discuss the show and his approaches to acting.

Bill Kenwright's production of Saturday Night Fever will have its West End Premiere for a strictly limited 8-week run at the Peacock Theatre, starting 4 February – 26 March.  This will be preceded by a short UK tour, opening at the New Theatre Oxford on 5 January, and traveling to Truro, Darlington and Manchester

More than 40 years since Saturday Night Fever hit the big screen, a new stage production is coming to Canterbury next month.

Edinburgh's theatre fans are spoilt for choice this season with a brilliant line-up of shows heading for the city's historic Playhouse between now and Christmas.

Bill Kenwright's highly anticipated new production of Saturday Night Fever is underway. Joining acclaimed dancer and actor Richard Winso ras Tony Manero, in his first leading role in a major musical, is: Kate Parr (Follies) in the role of Stephanie, Owen Broughton (Gus), Michael Cortez (Joey), Raphael Pace (Bobbie C) and Jared Thompson (Double Jay).

Highlights include the West End hit Motown The Musical (Tuesday 3 to Saturday 14 September 2019), and the return of the perennially popular musical Annie (Monday 14 to Saturday 19 October).
