The evening, featuring selections from 54, will be held June 17 at 8 PM at The House of Independents (HOI) in Asbury Park, NJ. Directed by Rachel Klein with choreography by Liz Piccoli, 54:the musical features a book by playwright and actress Renee Bang Allen.

A reading of the Broadway-bound new musical 54: The Musical will be presented March 30 at TADA Theatre in Manhattan. Emerging Artists Theatre presents this reading as part of its New Work Festival. The musical features a score of disco hits and cult classics from the golden age of Studio 54. 54: The Musical was conceived and written by Renee Bang Allen.
