CBS announced today the new one-hour special MVP: MOST VALUABLE PERFORMER, an interactive talent show to find the pro football player with the best off-the-field talent, to be broadcast live from the Avalon Hollywood, Thursday, Jan. 25 (9:00-10:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.

SAY: The Stuttering Association for the Young will host its 14th Annual Benefit Gala, on Monday, May 2, 2016, to celebrate the courage and achievements of more than 70 million people who stutter, including 5% of all children. Academy Award winning actress Julianne Moore was honored on June 8, 2015 by the Alzheimer's Association, New York City Chapter at the annual 'Forget-Me-Not' Gala, An Evening to End Alzheimer's at The Pierre in Manhattan. Ms. Moore received the Chapter's Creative Leadership Award for her stunning portrayal of a college professor diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's disease in Still Alice. Members of New York City's philanthropic, business, health care and Alzheimer's communities joined forces on June 2nd at the annual "Forget-Me-Not" Gala, An Evening to End Alzheimer's hosted by the Alzheimer's Association, New York City Chapter. The Chapter raised $1.2 million at this year's event, which took place at The Pierre and was emceed by David Hyde Pierce, Tony Award winning actor and tireless advocate in the Alzheimer's community. Last weekend on Friday, July 19, New York Giants cornerback Prince Amukamara proposed to girlfriend Pilar Davis during the Jabbawockeez show "PRiSM" at Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. A Jabbawockeez fan and dance lover, Amukamara popped the question in style when he sneakily joined the dance crew onstage for a performance in costume. Davis was pulled onstage as part of the act, and after the routine Amukamara dropped to one knee and took off his mask to reveal himself to Davis for his heartwarming proposal - she said yes. This was the first proposal ever integrated into a Jabbawockeez show.

On April 24, 2013, the Brooklyn Museum hosted its annual fundraising gala, the Brooklyn Artists Ball, celebrating Brooklyn's creative community.
