Diversionary announces the cast and creative team of the World Premiere Musical of EIGHTY-SIXED. Kevin Newbury will direct the World Premiere production of EIGHTY-SIXED by Jeremy J. King and Sam Salmond and choreographed by Raja Feather Kelly.

Doug Nevin and Michael Urie, in partnership with Rattlestick Playwrights Theater presented a reading of Jonathan Tolins' The Last Sunday in June on June 23rd as part of Pride Plays, a festival of play readings commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater in New York. Nick Mayo serves as Festival Director.

Last night, the 2017-2018 class of Dramatists Guild Foundation Fellows presented excerpts of full length works at Playwrights Horizons at 7:00 PM. This presentation caps off a year spent working under the tutelage of Michael Korie (War Paint), Laurence O'Keefe (Heathers), Diana Son (Stop Kiss), and Sheri Wilner (Kingdom City).

Director Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Tuck Everlasting, Newsies), and screenwriter/ composer Adam Wachter (ABC's Encore!, Wacky Races) just announced the digital release of their award-winning short film Sign.

The first episode of the ten part series, produced in partnership with MAC Cosmetics, will be released on Tuesday, March 13th, 2018. The unscripted series follows three Instagram influencers as they learn what it takes to be a drag superstar. Guided by a MAC pro artist and their “Drag Mother”, each participant tucks, plucks and struts their way to discovering the glamorous queen inside each of them.

Stonewall Production LLC has announced that Annie Golden, Aaron Simon Gross, Rev Yolanda, Claybourne Elder and Kevin Smith Kirkwood will lead the cast of the upcoming workshop of STONEWALL: A RHAPSODY ON RESISTANCE, a new musical written and composed by Dave Bates about the moments leading up to the violent raid on the Stonewall Inn.

Stars of Dear Evan Hansen, Great Comet, Great Comet, Waitress, Hamilton and more came together to sing the songs up of up and coming composer/ lyricist, Sam Salmond at Feinstein's/54 Below. BroadwayWorld has exclusively learned that Roundabout produced a reading of ME AND THE GIRLS with music and lyrics by Noel Coward, book and direction by Douglas Carter Beane, from a short story by Noel Coward last week at Pearl Studios. The reading included Alan Cumming as George Banks, Cory Michael Smith as Ron, Lesli Margherita as Mavis.
