Polly McKie was born in raised in Glasgow, Scotland and taught drama there and in Bermuda, before moving to New York to pursue a career in acting full time. Off Broadway credits: A Child's Christmas in Wales, The Home Place (both at Irish Rep.), A Lovely Sunday for Creve Coeur (St. Clement's), A Day by The Sea (The Mint). Regional: Lost in Yonkers (New Harmony Theatre), Into the Woods (Potsdam Music Theatre). Film: Soderbergh's Unsane (with Claire Foy), One Second Changes Everything (American Movie Award: Best Supporting Actress, 2016), Mouthpiece, The Perfect One. Irish Repertory Theatre announced today casting for the World Premiere of the new musical The Butcher Boy, featuring book, music & lyrics by Asher Muldoon. The Butcher Boy will begin previews on the Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage on July 21, 2022 and is set to open on August 1 for a limited run through September 11, 2022.
