a?oeWater is life, and there can be no life without water.a?? This is the main concept of Clay High School's award-winning production of H2O: A Play About Water. The show consists of separate vignettes about the place of water naturally on the planet and what role it plays in man-made society. The messages speak on the spirituality, danger, and political climate that surrounds water. Needless to say, not everyone will leave this show happy due to these topics. Regardless, Clay High School's magnificent ensemble still brings out a memorable production despite varying views on any of the show's themes.

For three weeks in September and going into October, the South Bend Civic Theatre brings Legally Blonde the Musical to the Wilson Theatre. The international award-winning musical based on the movie, Legally Blonde, explodes on the stage with memorable songs and dynamic dances. Friday and Saturday evenings from July 22nd to July 30th, The Fischgrund Center for the Performing Arts will become the streets of London to present Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins, South Bend Civic Theatre's summer production at St. Joseph County Parks. Katie Kuehner stars as the practically perfect nanny opposite Pierre Cooks as Bert the chimney sweep, in this production sponsored by Merrill Lynch - Matt Kahn Associates.
