Hairspray has returned to Glasgow at the nicest “Kings” in town! The show follows the antics of aspiring teen dancer, Tracy Turner, and her dreams of dancing on TV and ending segregation in her 1960s Baltimore community.

It has been announced that musical theatre star and television presenter Brenda Edwards (Chicago, We Will Rock You, The X Factor, Loose Women and Songs of Praise) will star as Motormouth Maybelle in the UK and Ireland tour of Hairspray.  Comedy legend Norman Pace (ITV's The Hale and Pace Show) will play Wilbur Turnblad alongside West End leading man Alex Bourne (Annie, Mamma Mia!, We Will Rock You) as Edna Turnblad.

West End Sings is the latest addition to the West End social calendar, combining the music of one iconic recording artist with a selection of the best talent London's theatre scene has to offer. Each concert will support a charity chosen for their links to the artist we are celebrating. 

Smash hit musical Hairspray has returned to Manchester's Opera House for an extended two week run and, yesterday, some of the cast enjoyed a '60s themed afternoon at All Star Lanes.

George Rae, one of the rising stars of Musical Theatre in London, is to make his New York City concert debut Monday February 5, 2018 at Feinstein's/54 Below.

Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents George Rae in Life is a Caba-RAE: A Scot in New York! on Monday February 5, 2018 at 9.30 pm. Recalling anecdotes from his blossoming career beginning as a young Scot in London, George performs songs that have defined him as a personality within the London musical theatre circuit and also some more personal Celtic music.

Due to phenomenal public demand, Hairspray has today announced it will continue to tour the UK into August of next year.

Following a packed out opening in Cardiff at Wales Millennium centre, the international smash hit musical comedy Hairspray the Musical returns to Birmingham Hippodrome for one week only from Mon 9 Sat 14 Oct.
