Todays on Ice, the Ice Factory Festival's late-night salon series is thrilled to announce this year's lineup. Curated and produced by Kevin Laibson (formerly of The PIT and Magic Futurebox), with associate producer Jonathan Portee (The Late Stream), Todays on Ice features cutting-edge micro-works by experimental comedians, rappers, storytellers, dancers, and cabaret performers.

There is only one New York City! Outspoken, outrageous and over the top, NYC residents are the perfect subjects for urban drama. The Players Theatre Short Play and Musical Festival and Be Bold! Productions encourage playwrights to take these stories and put them on the stage in the NYC - themed festival each June. Celebrating its 8th year, "Only in New York" opened Thursday, June 7 and runs for three weeks. Each week five original short plays or musicals, by a variety of playwrights (including one high school student) will be presented with a "Best of the Week" production will being selected by audience vote.

Nat Towsen's Downtown Variety Hour continues the fourth year of its run at UCB Theatre East Village on Monday, April 3, at 8 PM. Host Nat Towsen (VICE, Nickelodeon) combines the disappearing, eclectic lower Manhattan culture in which he grew up (around the corner from the theatre, in fact) with interviews, informative presentations, and the best of the NYC comedy scene. The show features native luminaries as well as a few welcome New York transplants.

Co-creators, Iliana Inocencio and Nicole Pasquale will premiere their Chaplin inspired series, 'Pair of Pears,' at Videology in Brooklyn on Sunday, March 16th at 7pm.

The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre is pleased to announce THE PLAY'S THE THING. Directed by Brandon Gardner, this exciting improvised run will play a 4-week limited engagement.
