LAUGH NOW OR GET OUT OF MY LIFE, a new documentary by Nick Varricchio, featuring the life and stories of Broadway veteran Peter Marinos will premiere at Village East by Angelika on October 3, 2022 at 6:30pm.

James A. Pierce III, a 2020 AUDELCO Award winner for Featured Actor in a Musical (The Dark Star from Harlem; La Mama E.T.C.) and a 9 year Broadway Veteran (Lion King, Anastasia) returns to the New York Stage in Evan Edwards' new drama Members of the Choir, directed by Rick Hamilton.

MorPi Productions in association with Chain Theatre has finalized casting for the workshop production of Members of the Choir, a new full-length drama by Evan Edwards. The play will be presented at the Chain Studio Theatre, 312 West 36th Street, 4th Floor on October 22 and 23 at 8pm and October 23 at 2pm.

Kris Kringle The Musical has announced the full cast for its upstate New York production in Schenectady next month featuring celebrity narrator Eve Plumb. To manage everyone's expectations, 'Beautiful: The Carole King Musical' is not entirely about the life and music of the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter. Although Carole King's emergence into the popular music scene is what the audiences will follow from start to end, we feel that this show has more to offer than just a summarization of King's life and musicography. This is not to accuse that the show's title is misleading ('Beautiful' is a song from her Grammy-winning album 'Tapestry'). In fact, the other elements present in the show sufficiently give this production a rightful claim to that adjective in its title.

Complete casting has been announced for a reading of Joe Gulla's "REEL WOOD". Hosted by the Village Playwrights, the reading will take place at NYC's Studio 353 on Thursday, November 8th.

Though the classic musical A Chorus Line may be produced fairly consistently, it is always refreshing to see a good quality, professional, local production. This is exactly what you'll get when you see the Tony winner running through May 26th at Long Island's historic Gateway Playhouse soon to be celebrating their 70th year. The large Broadway caliber cast is brilliantly directed and choreographed by Mitzi Hamilton who has had a long association with the show including the original Broadway production.
