Megan Hilty has joined the cast of The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh, a new comedy series that has just received a series order from Amazon Freevee. Hilty will star in the series alongside Matilda star Sindhu Vee and Naveen Andrews. Her is described as a 'sexy suburban Christian' who must learn to practice what she preaches when it comes to forgiveness.

Then on Monday, Dec. 19, “Live” brings the holidays to life with the “Live with Kelly and Ryan: Home for the Holidays” special episode. Award-winning musicians DAVID FOSTER AND KATHARINE MCPHEE will perform “Jingle Bell Rock,” and the internationally beloved RADIO CITY ROCKETTES will dance their way onto the “Live” stage.

Andrews will play ROBERT KAMDAR, NADIA’s (Eva De Dominici) gregarious and charming ex-lover, who is intent on driving a wedge between ARMAN (Adan Canto) and Nadia. Netflix’s pop culture phenomenon, Stranger Things, is part of a three-way tie with the Hulu comedy, Only Murders in the Building, and the Hulu Limited Series, Dopesick with a total of 9 nominations each. Stranger Things has been the talk of social media ever since its season four debut on May 27th.

“The Dropout: Elizabeth Holmes on Trial” is written by Rebecca Jarvis, Victoria Thompson and Taylor Dunn. Jarvis and Dunn are producers, and Thompson is executive producer.

Gina Torres has boarded romantic comedy THE HATING GAME, joining previously announced leads Lucy Hale and Robbie Amell. Peter Hutchings (THEN CAME YOU) will direct Christina Mengert's adaptation of the bestselling novel by Sally Thorne. The film is produced by Claude Dal Farra, Brice Dal Farra, and Brian Keady of BCDF Pictures. Shooting starts in August in New York. Mister Smith Entertainment is co-financing and will handle sales. 

Naveen Andrews has come on board to star in a film adaptation of Gabrielle Zevin's runaway bestseller THE STORIED LIFE OF A.J. FIKRY. Hans Canosa will direct from Zevin's adaptation of her own novel. Canosa, Zevin and Claude Dal Farra, Brice Dal Farra and Brian Keady of BCDF Pictures are producers.

CBS today announced premiere dates for drama series airing this summer, including the new action-adventure series BLOOD & TREASURE; the seventh and final season of the modern day Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson drama, ELEMENTARY; and the second season of INSTINCT, starring Alan Cumming and Bojana Novakovic.
