Fresh off ringing in 2024 with an epic two-night stand at San Francisco's Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, LCD Soundsystem has announced 12 new shows in five North American cities, including a four-night residency in Seattle at the historic Paramount Theatre, presented by Seattle Theatre Group (STG) this Spring from May 16 - 19.

On Friday, August 30th, SCENERY launched Merde in the Curtain Call collection. This handbag is the 'Break a leg' bag for the dance world! 'Merde' is the word dancers use to wish each other a good show. The bag is created from black drops, called legs, that hang on either side of the stage separating the world onstage from the world offstage and featuring gold metallic embroidery with the message “merde”. 

STEEPLECHASE, a new dark comedy by Chris Nelson with direction by Maridee Slater begins as part of New York Theater Festival's Summerfest at Hudson Guild Theater (441 West 26th Street) on Monday August 19th with subsequent performances on August 23rd and 25th. The cast includes Valerie Redd*, James O'Hagan-Murphy*, Amy Laird Webb, Rob McDermott, Joel Reyer, Schuyler Van Amson, Tyra Hardy, Cristina Lucas* and Allison Pappas. *(Member of Actors Equity). Ebner-Page Productions today annonuced the New York Premiere Off-Broadway run of Siegmund Fuchs' IN THE CLOSET, a stirring dramedy about ageism in the gay community that will begin a limited Off-Broadway engagement Wednesday, May 29, 2019 continuing through June 16, 2019 at Theatre Row's Studio Theatre, (410 West 42nd Street).  Eli Carpenter will direct.  Mr. Fuchs lives in Washington, D.C., is an attorney for the United States Department of Justice, and his academic work focuses on abuse victims.

On April 29 at 7 PM, at the historic and exquisite Church of the Transfiguration, an impressive roster of cabaret celebrities will gather together to celebrate and support the upcoming production of a powerful new off-Broadway play, In the Closet. Created by Herrick Entertainment, Season 2 brings a whole new trio of judges including the world's original supermodel, Christie Brinkley; Hearst Magazines Chief Beauty Director, Leah Wyar; and world acclaimed, celebrity fashion and beauty photographer,Yu Tsai joining new host international superstar model Ashley Graham and mentor, world acclaimed celebrity makeup artist, Sir John. Each judge will use their unique experience to determine who stays in and who packs up their brushes in each episode.
