 tanzmainz, the German Staatstheater Mainz's contemporary dance company, makes its Montreal debut at Danse Danse with Soul Chain, a new work by Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar, also presented here for the first time. Presented January 23 to 27, 2024 at Théâtre Maisonneuve of the Place des Arts.

The Polyphonic Spree have released their highly anticipated, eighth studio album, 'Salvage Enterprise,' The album features nine original compositions and is described as the band's most vulnerable work to date. The Polyphonic Spree shares new track 'Shadows On The Hill (Section 48)' from their upcoming album 'Salvage Enterprise.' The band's front man, Tim DeLaughter, describes the album as a rising-from-the-ashes record with acoustic elements and rich folk music. The album was crowdfunded by their dedicated audience.

Created in partnership with the band, the Deluxe 2-CD/1 Blu-Ray edition offers a wealth of material for fans, including the band’s previously unreleased set from their guest appearance on the hit TV series “Party of Five.” Captured in 1999, the performance includes an 11-song setlist—including enduring hits like “Man on the Moon.”

Described as a ‘rising-from-the-ashes’ record” by DeLaughter, who often found himself alone with a guitar when making this record. The instrument soon doubled as a creative north star for what would eventually become Salvage Enterprise. Watch the new music video and check out upcoming tour dates!

Country Music Hall of Famer and 22-time Grammy winner Vince Gill will join Indianapolis Colts Owner & CEO Jim Irsay and his all-star band for a free, one-night-only performance in Las Vegas celebrating The Jim Irsay Collection, his traveling museum of iconic artifacts from rock music, American history and pop culture. 

The National have been playing a number of new songs live since returning to the road this May, and now, the group releases one of them as a new single through 4AD, “Weird Goodbyes,” feat. Bon Iver. The single continues the tradition of Justin Vernon’s collaborations with the band in the studio and on stage.

Vital Theatre Company has announced the acquisition of the rights to the new children's picture book 'Myra and the Drawing Drama', written by Rosemary Rivera and illustrated by Mario Menjivar, for the creation a new family musical with Book and Lyrics by Jeremy Dobrish and Music and Lyrics by David Mallamud which will debut in Vital Theatre Company's 2022-2023 Season.
