Michael Spaziani BIO

Michael Spaziani, a native of Nashua, NH, is quickly becoming recognized as a formidable talent as both a singer and actor, enjoying professional success in the fields of theater, musical theater, opera, and operetta. Michael is a recent graduate of the Hartt School of the University of Hartford in West Hartford, CT, where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and Music Management. With "a voice to die for" (Douglas Farrell, Woodstock Playhouse), Michael has been praised for “combin[ing] very, very good quality of voice, very strong technique, and excellent interpretation” and his ease of “getting his emotional and musical points across to the audience” (Alan Mann, Artistic Director of Opera Theater of CT). Past and current voice teachers include Korby Myrick, Marishka Wierzbicki, Michele Henderson, and Jerome Pruett. Michael also has an extensive background in acting, having trained both privately and in an academic setting.

The Green Room 42 kicked off their 2020 of 'GR42 Sings' with a bang! In their introductory season they tackled composers such as Rodgers & Hammerstein, Andrew Lippa, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Alan Menken and Andrew Lloyd Webber, as well as celebrating Disney Villains and singing through In the Heights. They started off their 2nd season by singing through the music that has been a staple of musical theatre: The Music of Boublil & Schönberg. “GR42 Sings Boublil & Schönberg” was a night where we will fall back in love with the classics from Les Miserables and Miss Saigon, as well as listen to some lesser known work such as The Pirate Queen and Martin Guerre.
