A salute to Max Woodward will take place at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. on Monday November 21, 2022 at 3:00PM. Woodward, who went to work at Kennedy Center the week it opened and retired after forty-five years as Vice-President of Theater Programming, died on October 14, 2022 in Washington, D.C.

The Great Lakes Center for the Arts in Bay Harbor, MI has announced the cast and creative team for its upcoming production of Godspell.

Returning to the role of Patsy Cline is Cayman Ilika, who has performed on stages throughout the country including the 5th Avenue Theatre and Village Theatre in Seattle, Musical Theatre West in Los Angeles, and The Asolo Repertory Theatre in Saraosota.

After 52 years, Denny Reagan, Muny President and CEO, has announced plans to retire in December of 2021. Beginning January 2022, Reagan will assume the role of senior advisor. In this role, leadership will rely on his breadth of experience and knowledge as the theatre completes its Second Century Capital Campaign.

Bloomberg Philanthropies today announced that 26 cultural organizations in Austin and 27 organizations in New Orleans have been selected to participate in the Arts Innovation and Management (AIM) program. The Theatre Lab School of the Dramatic Arts has been selected as one of 47 Washington-area cultural institutions to participate in the Arts Innovation and Management training program, part of Mike Bloomberg's American Cities Initiative, in an effort to help cities generate innovation.
