The Barn Theatre will present the second production of its 96th season: Beehive, The 1960’s Musical. Directed by Leslie Silverman, musically directed by Jack Bender, and choreographed by Donna Bialkin. Created by Larry Gallagher. 

While the talent line-up for the show was incredible people with fabulous voices, Scott could very well have performed his show singing all by himself and it would have been a fine night of cabaret.

Musical theater composer Scott Evan Davis will have a Triad Takeover on May 21st with original songs and a few musical friends.

The MPAC Performing Arts Company has released a video of the group singing a?oeYou Will Be Founda?? from the Broadway show Dear Evan Hansen remotely from their homes. The Playhouse Youth Company at Bucks County Playhouse will present a one-hour, family-friendly adaptation of the Broadway musical "Shrek, Jr." tailored especially for young audiences. The show will run July 24 - August 3, 2018, on the Bucks County Playhouse stage. There are evening performances on Wednesday, July 24 and Sunday, July 28 at 7:30 pm. Daytime performances are July 25, 26, 27, 30, 31, and August 1, 2 and 3 at 10:30 a.m.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. Thommie Retter (Billy Elliot) and Retter Entertainment ring in the holidays for the HOW MANY consecutive year with This Way To Broadway Live: Jingle Jam!, an original musical/song and dance showcase for audiences of all ages on Sunday, December 4 at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Marjorie S. Deane Little Theatre, 10 West 64th Street. The show brings together talented kid performers from the stage and screen-many of whom have already appeared on Broadway and on tour-and others who are Broadway bound. The script was penned by mother/daughter writing team Sheryl Berk and Carrie Berk (Peace, Love & Cupcakes: The Musical; Fashion Academy: The Musical) with original songs by Thommie Retter and Rick Hip-Flores (In Transit; Fun Home; Billy Elliot). Mackenzie Ziegler ('Dance Moms') and Casey Simpson (Nickelodeon's 'Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn') hosted Lyrics For Life on Sat, Sept 10, 2016 at Symphony Space. Held on World Suicide Prevention Day, the event aims to raise awareness for suicide prevention and mental health. Proceeds benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, the nation's largest non-profit dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide.

THE COLOR PURPLE's Antoine L. Smith, along with ON YOUR FEET cast members Doreen Montalvo & Jennifer Sanchez will perform in the Broadway Artists & Friends Open Mic & Mingle on Monday April 11th at 7pm at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. They will be joined by Megan Lewis (IF/THEN, SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK, GREY GARDENS), Ian Knauer (DAMES AT SEA, MAMMA MIA!, BY JEEVES, STATE FAIR), D'Vorah Bailey (CANDIDE), Monette McKay (SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK, MEMPHIS, MAMMA MIA), J.L. Williams (FELA!) as well as selected up and comers (listed below).

On Saturday, December 19, 2015 a group of over 70 children including Broadway performers and friends joined together in NYC to raise their voices for peace in hopes to help end gun violence.  They created a flash mob sing-in demonstration first at Schnipper's restaurant in the heart of Broadway on 8th Avenue and 41st and then once again in Times Square.

Thommie Retter, (Billy Elliot) and Retter Entertainment provide unique opportunities for aspiring young performers through This Way To Broadway, Live! a series of workshops culminating in showcase opportunities, including singing, acting, and dancing. 

The Broadway Artists Connection (BAC) concludes it's 2015 season with the BAC ALL STARS Benefit on Sunday, Dec. 13th (3pm) at the legendary Don't Tell Mama.  Hosted by Broadway veteran, Director, Choreographer and Founder of the New York Song & Dance Company Noah Racey, the event will be kicked off by several Broadway pros (listed below). Also featuring the top talent from the BAC open mic series, where casting Director Paul Russell of Paul Russel Casting will be crowning one the 'future of Broadway All Stars 2015.'

The Broadway Artists Connection (BAC) presents its fifth 'Broadway Artists & Friends Open Mic & Mingle' night hosted by HAMILTON cast member Ariana DeBose and kicked off by a stellar line up of Broadway pros at the legendary Don't Tell Mama, Monday, November 23rd at 7pm.

The Metropolitan Room hosted two simultaneous events last night. The 10th year of the MAC Award Winning Benefit Series Cabaret Cares, and the 3rd 40th Birthday of the charities creator Joseph Macchia. The non profit Joseph started 10 years ago has raised over $100,000 to help children living with HIV and AIDS. It was a cabaret spectacular and Broadwayworld was there to catch all the action.
