Eliza Gilkyson, the two-time GRAMMY-nominated (2006/2014) folk singer, songwriter and activist is one of the most respected musicians in Folk Roots/Americana music today. In keeping with the idea of folk music as an instrument for change, Gilkyson is announcing her new release, 2020, a collection of politically charged anthems designed to motivate, reflect and inspire action during what she believes will be “the most important USA election of our lifetime.” She is sharing the song 'Sooner or Later' today at Billboard, which writes 'the bluesy, biting 'Sooner or Later' is intended as a rallying cry and a statement of purpose.' Gilkyson examines the inequality in our world right now and warns that sooner or later we're 'gonna rise up, gonna take all back.'

The Small Glories make their US debut with ASSINIBOINE & THE RED, an album that celebrates the Canadian Prairies. The album will be released worldwide on June 28 on Red House Records. The album title references the junction of two rivers, the Assiniboine (pronounced 'uh-sin-uh-boin') and the Red, in the duo's hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba, and celebrates the happenstance meeting of members Cara Luft, an original member of the Wailin' Jennys, and multi-instrumentalist JD Edwards. The duo is premiering the album's first single, 'Oh My Love,' today with PASTE Magazine.

He re-joined THE AUDIENCE after the London production for which he won an Olivier Award for best supporting actor. Produced and recorded in her hometown of Austin with her son, Cisco Ryder, The Nocturne Diaries is a restless contemplative work inspired by the converging forces of her highest hopes and darkest fears. The songs range from roots rockers to a haunting version of the folk classic 'Fast Freight' written by her father, Terry Gilkyson.
