HCCT is presenting the classic western firecracker of a musical for their hill country audience this month.  DESTRY RIDES AGAIN is based on the story by Max Brand, and became a book written by Leonard Gershe.

As the first main stage production in Australia in over forty years, Melbourne Opera and IOpera will present a stunning reinterpretation of Kurt Weill, Bertolt Brecht and Elisabeth Hauptmann's The Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny at The Athenaeum from 1 May.

Hill Country Community Theatre has announced its 2021-22 season featuring the musical comedy “Nunsense A-Men!,” a holiday comedy “A Doublewide, Texas Christmas,” an evening of sketches from “The Carol Burnett Show,” the new comedy “Breakfast Club,” and the musical “Destry Rides Again.” 

HBO Max previewed new ad experiences coming to the platform later this year and shared its immediate commitment to having the lightest ad load in the streaming industry, coupled with the most premium content.

The powerhouse sketch show, which takes place in a dystopian future where all content is branded, began its run at the UCB Theatre in Hell's Kitchen in February 2018 and quickly became one the fledgling location's hallmark attractions; however, the production ruffled some feathers when it announced that BCWSYF mainstay Gianmarco Soresi would be replaced by Alexis Pereira, an E-Learning Supervising Technician at the Borough of Manhattan Community College, following the former's departure to Less Than 50%, currently running at 59E59.
