Kiln Theatre has announced full casting for the UK première of Lynn Nottage's Mlima's Tale. Miranda Cromwell directs Gabrielle Brooks (Githinji), Pui Fan Lee (Gouxi), Brandon Grace (Andrew), Natey Jones (Geedi) and Ira Mandela Siobhan (Mlima). The production opens on 21 September, with previews from 14 September, and runs until 21 October.

The season kicks off this fall with Martin McDonagh's comedy THE LIEUTENANT OF INISHMORE, directed by Company Member Derek Bertelsen followed next spring by Christopher Hampton's drama LES LIAISONS DANGEREUSES, directed by Charlie Marie McGrath. Perfectly timed in October, North Raleigh Arts and Creative Theatre's Carrie is sure to get you in the Halloween mood. First attempted on Broadway over 25 years ago, it was initially a flop. It garnered a kind of cult following in the subsequent years among a niche group of musical theater fans, and was recently resurrected Off-Broadway, dusted off and re-worked for today's audiences. It's now a Carrie for the masses, finally making its way from the New York stage into theaters of all sorts around the country.
The North Raleigh Arts and Creative Theatre (NRACT) will present the southern regional premiere of 'Carrie: The Musical,' based on the 1974 horror novel by Stephen King, for ten performances, Oct. 18-Nov. 3.
