Following their successful runs, and demand, Vegas Theatre Company (VTC) and Las Vegas Horror Show, LLC have announced the return of the hit theatrical productions ABANDON and CLUElesque this spring.

 Due to overwhelming demand, the dark and twisted world of ABANDON has announced additional performances at Vegas Theatre Company in the Las Vegas Arts District.

Count down to Halloween with the dark and twisted world of ABANDON, a frightening, kinky, and darkly humorous theatrical experience, where the line between pleasure and pain blurs into a mind-bending world of unspeakable horrors and forbidden desires.

The month of October is a time of all things spooky and scary. Abandon is the frightening new theatrical experience performed at Vegas Theatre Company through Oct. 31.

Local theater artists Carl Del Buono and Rachel Kodweis will perform selections from “Rodgers & Hammerstein…and Others: An Evening of Song” to raise funds for The Company Theatre Saturday, Sept. 30 at the historic Temple Theater.

Presented by Las Vegas Horror Show, LLC and co-produced with Vegas Theatre Company, ABANDON will explore the darkest corners of the human psyche and terrify Las Vegas audiences for a five-week run in the vibrant Las Vegas Arts District, beginning Thursday, October 5, 2023.

Western Connecticut State University's Department of Theatre Arts announced the live show 'Marat/Sade' opening on Friday, April 21, and running through Sunday, April 30, at the university's Visual and Performing Arts Center (VPAC), 43 Lake Ave. Extension, Danbury.

The 2022 - 2023 season at Mad Horse Theatre Company is filled with thought provoking, timely plays:  When We were Young and Unafraid  by Sarah Treem, Sept 29 - Oct 23; Straight White Men by Young Jean Lee, Nov 17 - Dec 11; Quills by Doug Wright, Feb 2- 26 and Dance Nation by Clare Barron, 4/20 -5/14. 

The season includes Well Made @ The Playground – a mini-season of new theatre, opera, and contemporary dance from developing artists – and Ida Rubinstein: The Final Act, a play with music and dance that chronicles the untold story of dance’s Forgotten Diva.

The founder of modern Sadism, Marquis de Sade's works are known for their controversy and sexual violence. More palatable is one of the few surviving plays, written by de Sade during one of his many stints in prison in the late 1700s. OXTIERN is undoubtedly a commentary on the French aristocracy that judged him so harshly.

The Playground has been working hard throughout the COVID-19 crisis, renewing its commitment to the local community by running a thriving programme of play readings, delivering 7500 meals to local people in need and offering use of the space to the theatre community for developing new ways of working.

3rd Act Theatre Company announced their second season, themed POWER, and shows to be performed, via a livestream event on Facebook last Saturday. Mainstage shows are: Running Mates by Beth Kandor, Setting the Nation Right and Other Easy Plays for Women, by Bell Elliot Palmer, and Heartbreak House by George Bernard Shaw.

Afrofuturism producers Trrmà have released their latest single, 'Shishapangma' on 6th of March. The track was premiered via VENTS Magazine and is lifted from their upcoming album, The Earth's Relief via 577 Records which will be released on 1st of May. The duo have received support from Italian publications Son Of Marketing, Rockerilla and Blow Up. The two have toured Japan, sharing a stage with Tatsuya Yoshida (Ruins), Koichi Makigami (Tzadik record), and Doravideo. Trrmà has also collaborated with American visual artist and pianist Charlemagne Palestine whilst one-half of Trrmà, Giovanni Todisco has previously worked with Italian punk duo ?Alos. Having toured Europe, the duo also played at L'homme a deux oreilles and Time Zones Festival.

Cass McCombs has announced new tour dates this week including a US run starting in San Diego on October 9 and a November European tour beginning on November 2 in London. He is also making his Americanafest debut this year with a performance in The Frothy Pit, a new collaboration featuring McCombs and country music legend Wynonna Judd. The Frothy Pit will be performing for the first time at the ANTI- Records showcase at AMERICANAFEST, taking place in Nashville at the Mercy Lounge on September 12.
