The Off-Broadway League has announced the hire of its first General Manager, Ms. Maricha Miles. Ms. Miles is a non-profit management professional with an extensive background in the performing arts in both the U.S. and Australia and is the first full-time position the Off Broadway League has employed since its founding in 1959. She steps into the role on Monday, July 24.
Hosts Brooke Shields and Brad Oscar welcomed celebrities, Broadway greats, philanthropy influencers and the New York elite to celebrate the 12th Annual Make Believe on Broadway, on November 14 at the Shubert Theatre. The evening showcased Broadway and Hollywood's brightest stars as they united in a benefit performance on behalf of Only Make Believe, a non-profit that brings the magic of theater to children in hospitals and care facilities.
Hosted by Sir Ian McKellen, last night, November 1, the Only Make Believe Gala featured a number of performances including the casts of Memphis, the Cast of Billy Elliot: The Musical, and others.
