It's been a 'who's who' of famed octogenarians and nonagenarians inspiring residents recently at Inspīr Carnegie Hill, where bold faced names have been making appearances for months, with an impressive lineup continuing through the summer and beyond.

This coming Thursday, May 18, theatrical producer and Broadway powerhouse Manny Azenberg will be regaling residents with tales about his storied career but will also touch on topics Jewish representation in theater and the media, as well as how we can create change through theatre, and how Broadway has evolved over the decades.

Next up at Laguna Playhouse, Love Among the Ruins world premieres October 30, 2022 (with previews starting October 26th). Michael Arabian directs the stellar cast of JoBeth Williams and Peter Strauss in this adaptation of the 1975 ABC Theatre Presentation that starred Katherine Hepburn and Laurence Olivier. Peter graciously found some time between rehearsals and his orange farm to answer a few of my queries.

The world premiere of Ass, a comedy by successful playwright and screenwriter ELLEN SIMON, will finally open at PIONEER THEATRE COMPANY (PTC) on OCTOBER 22 and will run through NOVEMBER 6, 2021. Its original 2020 world premiere was put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
