SHARE is thrilled to announce the 15th Anniversary of A Second Helping of Life, the annual tasting benefit where famous female chefs serve their signature tastes in support of women facing ovarian and breast cancers, to be held on Monday, September 17th, at Chelsea Piers.

Project Sunshine celebrated supporters, volunteers, patients and families at their 15th annual gala fundraiser last evening at Cipriani 42nd Street which raised over $1mm.

At a ceremony held earlier this week in New York, the Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs announced the winners of the 2016 MAC Awards. A Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Amanda McBroom. Also honored with a Board of Directors award was Maryann Lopinto. Jamie deRoy received the Ruth Kurtzman Benefit Award on behalf of her work with The Actors Fund: Jamie deRoy & Friends Cabaret Initiative. Sally Darling received the Hanson Award. The show was produced by Julie Miller and directed by Lennie Watts, with musical direction by Matt Baker.

This weekend, members of the New York Media will do something courageous.

The 9th Annual New York's Funniest Reporter Show will take place on Sunday, September 14th @ 5:00 pm at Comic Strip Live (1568 Second Ave / bet 81st & 82nd) comedy club. It will feature seven media professionals each doing five minutes of stand up comedy in order to raise money for the Humane Society of New York. At the end of the night, a winner will be declared.

The 2010 Tony winning Best Musical MEMPHIS has announced a partnership with The Great Atlantic Pacific & Tea Company (A&P) to raise money for New York-area Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Beginning July 4, 2011, customers at all A&P, Pathmark, Food Emporium, Waldbaum's, Food Basics, Super Fresh and Best Cellars stores will be asked to make a donation to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals at the register.
